On July 10th, 2026, AIVA Corporation co-hosted the Global Engineers Meetup in Shinjuku — an evening bringing together engineers working in Japan, and those hoping to, for an evening of casual networking and conversation.

With under 20 attendees, the setting stayed intimate and easygoing. Foreign and Japanese engineers mingled freely over light refreshments and drinks, swapping stories about their careers, the tech they work with, and what it’s really like navigating Japan’s tech industry as a bilingual professional.

The evening opened with an hour of open networking, giving everyone a chance to connect one-on-one before a short presentation in the middle of the night kicked off a second round of conversations — this time with fresh topics on the table.

Whether attendees came looking to expand their professional network, explore new career opportunities, or simply meet fellow engineers who understand the unique challenges of working across languages and cultures, the night delivered exactly that: real connections, made casually.

Events like this reflect something we believe strongly at AIVA and our partners — that a global, bilingual engineering community grows stronger when people have space to just talk. We’re already looking forward to the next one.

We sincerely thank our co-Host AT&N for arranging everything and for smooth coordination!
